Beauty & Healing

These workshops are customized for adults or youth, and range from: Forgiveness, Healing our Mother-Father wounds, breaking past Trauma Bonds, Co-dependency, Eating Disorders, Strengthening self-love so that we can effecting love others, and identifying our gifts within.

Independent Living Workshops

In in this workshop, MelRo equips homeless, and foster youth with the skills and education necessary to become independent, productive adults. Having been homeless her self, MelRo guides youth through what her process was, and helps to formulate their own process.

Social Emotional Learning

Research shows that SEL not only improves achievement, but also improves increases pro social behaviors (such as kindness, sharing, and empathy.) MelRo guides each child through self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, responsible decision making, and community services. 

 

How to Effectively Reach Traumatized Children

Perfect for foster parents, kinship caregivers, clinicians and other child welfare professionals. MelRo shares her experiences and tools and techniques for building effective relationships with children who have experienced trauma.   She has been a foster parent trainer, and Train the Trainer for 5 plus years, and is able to teach on a variety of topics for those serving in child-welfare.
